Rather than just filling a plastic bag with water, Osprey designed the Hydraulics with welded chevron baffles to maintain a low-profile shape and prevent sloshing, and gave it a 180-degree pivoting magnetic bite valve for easy drinking without worrying about spilling. The QuickConnect hose disconnects easy for filling, and the 3/4-turn cap stays locked even if you tend to treat your pack a little roughly.
